Photo blog: Yellow Doors Hostel

Hello, Yellow!

The moment I stepped inside the Yellow Door, I felt home straightaway. This is exactly what I’m looking for – chill, comfy and hip vibe, in the heart of Tacloban! Every corner is bursting with creativity; they have comfy beds, functional rooms, quirky and colorful decor. It’s a mix of rustic and bohemian! You can play vinyl records in the common area and they serve cold beers too!

5 out of 5 stars for a local hostel!

The Perfect Wine and Dine Spot: Terraza of Balay Dako Tagaytay

My girl friends and I have a monthly friendship challenge, to find a new place for our wine and dine. We found the perfect spot in Tagaytay! We conquered the 3 hours holiday traffic for a sumptuous glass of wine ❤️ We ended up at Balay Dako. It’s the new addition to the growing Antonio’s group. They serve Filipino cuisine with a modern twist. Make sure to visit their bar ‘Terraza” for a magnificent view of Tagaytay.

I have an enormous love for good interior and Terraza did not disappoint! I suddenly want a solemn 50 guests wedding at this place ❤️ Everything is so romantic, from the Taal view to its high ceiling structure. I will definitely go back for a glass of wine with JR 🍷
